4 out of 5 stars My kid cousins love it   June 26, 2006
Faith Ben Salem (Kuwait)
My little pony is one of my little cousins favorite cd rom games, the love mostly dressing up the pony and baking the cake. Their least favorite part of it is searching for the items the little pony friends ask for. When they go to do the choreography session for the party , my cousins say she does the same dance moves. the are right they all look the same most of the time. When they go to dress the pony, they just love seeing the different hairstyles, some lookes so funny they would laugh at it. when they start baking the cake, they complain about not too much color to choose from. However the most annoying part of playing the cd rom game was the non-stoppable repetitive sentences the ponies kept using while the kids were playing. Their favorite part was entering the castle.. they'd start applauding, smiling and jumping up and down their seats because they reached the castle. You should see those kids' faces happy they accomplished their task. seeing those happy faces was indeed a pleasure

2 out of 5 stars BEWARE!! Some may not receive this actual game!   March 9, 2006

Let me tell you how shocked I was when I installed this game and it looked NOTHING like what was pictured on the packaging. The ACTUAL game that I received from Amazon looked like something from the early Eighties!! There were none of the ponies my girls expected... No Sunny Daze, no Pinkie Pie, No Skywishes and no Sparkleworks... This one has Ivy, Morning Glory, Sun Sparkle!?!?!?

What is even More weird is that even the CD ITSELF has the new ponies pictured on it. It lookes identical to the picture listed on the box here on this website. I don't know what they sent me but it is a very Outdated my little pony game... I am Blown Away! The only reason I didn't give this games less stars is that the daughter I actually bought it for doesn't understand that its the wrong game... and she loves to play it anyway.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it. My 5 year old son thinks it's fun too.

We've had this game for over a year and it's one of the few that my girls (now 6 and 3 1/2) continually come back to. Especially my younger daughter. There isn't too much by way of brain power required, no games that build reading or math skills. It is mostly about decorating...decorating the cake (my kids favorite), the ballroom, the bedroom, designing invitations, grooming ponies. Sometimes a list of items is given that the child needs to troll around the pony town and find but nothing challenging. However the colors are bright, the narrator is full of fun southern flair 'darling', and I like the extent of detail they put into this program, for example the cake will change from a round cake to a square to castle shape depending on when you enter the bakery, and you can decorate it with a zillion options. I can't stress enough how bright and colorful the whole thing is and it runs smoothly both on our Windows XP and 98 machines. So if you have an artsy child who likes little ponies, this game is worth your money.
