Fun but hard October 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is a lot harder to play that we expected. The coordination of using both remotes and remembering hand strokes for different spells/actions takes some getting used too. Still though, we have fun playing it!
Pretty fun, but probably not for serious gamers... July 27, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My roommate and I ended up playing and beating this game over the course of 7 hours, and it probably would have been quicker if it had been easier to bend. For some reason, it was very difficult for our wiimotes to understand that we wanted to bend. Most of the game was pretty fun, except for a few levels - like the timed one with the giant owl spirit that we played about fifty times because of said bending issue, and I am definitely buying Into the Inferno. Also, the two-player aspect really makes the game. There are times when it's better to play with one person, like when you're sneaking past the guards into the Bei Fong estate, but it's really much better with another.
The other annoyance is the angle at which the game is played is sometimes difficult - sometimes you can't see what is in front of you, which is annoying. But I would definitely buy this game.
Good-- Follows the story line June 15, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Just got this-- it's pretty good. It is completely different than the first one. It basically follows the story line for the Earth book. Only two characters at a time play in the game-- you even get to be Zuko and Iroh for one of the episodes. Note-- this does make the game more difficult...
For Pham-- I tried the crossing the falling sand for awhile and couldn't do it, then realized you need to wait between consecutive jumps (so instead of pressing jump, jump -- press jump, then wait 'til near the end of the first jump then press jump again right before he/she starts to fall-- this gets you further to the next stone). Also-- on hard parts of the game-- it's easier if only one person is playing...
not a bad game April 20, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
the game is fun i had fun with the 2 player mode and its alot better then the first one but at times it gets boring but they may be because ive seen the series and knew what was going to happen but its a fun game to beat atleast once :)
Jumping on Sliding Rocks is NOT Fun April 8, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Game started out interesting but there is one part in the game where the players must jump across rocks sliding down the mountain. This part was definitely not fun. Spent three hours trying to get past that part and then gave up. NOT fun. Haven't touched the game since. What a waste of money.
