Get your Bratitude on! Bratz, the life-action film featuring the four sassy tween-queen doll characters, drives home the kid- and (parent-) friendly messages of being true to yourself, and friendship above all else. If some kickass fashion and retail therapy help deliver those pearls of wisdom, who's going to complain? The action centers on our favorite BFFs, Jade, Cloe, Sasha, and Yasmin, starting high school together at Carry Nation High, and navigating through the rigid clique system that seems destined to force the girls apart. Along the way, there are fireworks (created by brainy Jade in chem class), food fights, and lots of cute guys to crush on. Ruling over all: Meredith Baxter Dimly, the Baby Doc Duvalier of high-school politics, somehow managing to be student-body president for at least three years running (maybe the fact that her pop is the principal has something to do with her anointment). Meredith, played to a scheming fare-thee-well by Chelsea Staub, is a formidable villain, but our girls realize nothing can come between true friends, if they just stick together. The climactic comeuppance scene--set at Carry Nation's annual talent show--will have Bratz fans clapping on their feet. The film's soundtrack is upbeat and catchy, and features big names like the Black Eyed Peas and Ashlee Simpson, and the two show-stoppers sung by Staub as Meredith. And that's a Bratz-wrap! --A.T. Hurley
Product Description The Bratz girls - Yasmin (Nathalia Ramos) Cloe (Skyler Shaye) Sasha (Logan Browning) and Jade (Janel Parrish) - have been best friends forever and have even made a pinky promise to always stick together. But when they become students at Carry Nation High School they find that social cliques - and the super-snooty school president Meredith - are determined to tear them apart! Even though they love following their own dreams the girls really miss each other. Before long they realize they can pursue their passions and be best friends so they set out to end peer pressure forever. Through song dance and of course fashion they teach the whole school the true meaning of empowerment honesty and most importantly friendship.System Requirements:Running Time: 102 minutesFormat: DVD MOVIE Genre: CHILDREN/10-12 YEARS Rating: PG UPC: 012236221418 Manufacturer No: 22141

Great Movie February 22, 2010 S. D. Nees (Warsaw, NC) my niece loves the bratz so got this for her for christmas and she was so happy. Me and my husband watched it with her and even though I'm not into the bratz at age 28, this is a great movie and has alot of good qualities for young girls about friendships and all.
Four highschool girls out to change the world December 20, 2009 Jim Gateley (Sunnyvale, CA) 3 of 5 stars for the teen comedy movie Bratz. Hollywood loves to remake a theme when it is successful, this movie is a remake of Mean Girls with more comedy and less "social study". Same basic themes. Take four high school girls each is skilled in a differnt subject. The school has its clicks of people (Nerds, Goths, Jocks, etc.). Our girls find it easy to fit into their clicks based on their skills (the smart girl fits with the nerds in the science club, etc). The problem is these clicks cause our BFF (Best Friend Forever) girls to drift apart. So our girls work to tear down the clicks and bring harmony. All is good until the spoiled-rich-girl decides she prefers the clicks to remain.
A funny and cute movie which is pretty well made. The story is more geared towards comedy than looking at the social fabric of high school students. Yes, I recommend this movie, however, if you only have time for one movie, Mean Girls is a bit better.
The best September 19, 2009 Darlene Estrada I love to buy books and movies from amazon. They are always shipped fast and the product is excellent
